When did guqin first appear?
Guqin first appeared in the Zhou Dynasty, and the earliest written records about guqin can be found in the Book of Songs. Collected poems from the early years of the Western Zhou Dynasty to the middle of the Spring and Autumn Period (1 1 century to the 6th century), reflecting the social outlook of about 500 years from the early Zhou Dynasty to the weekend. Therefore, guqin should have appeared in the Zhou Dynasty at the earliest.

In the Zhou Dynasty, guqin was not only used for sacrificial ceremonies, court meetings, ceremonies and other elegant music in suburban temples, but also played and became a folk musical instrument deeply loved by the ancients. For example, in The Book of Songs Xiaoya Luming Literature, it is said that I have a guest who wants to play the guqin, which means that there is an audience present today, so I want to play the piano.

During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the story of Boya and Hippo's little chefs finding a bosom friend turned into a beautiful story, with Boya playing the piano in the middle, and later abandoned the piano to commemorate Zhong Ziqi's broken string.

Introduction of Four Guqin in China

There were four famous pianos in ancient China, namely Qi Huangong's Trumpet, Chu Zhuangwang's Round Beam, Sima Xiangru's Luqi and Cai Yong's copulation.

1, Zhong: Zhao Jun, Gong Zijiu was convicted of usurping the throne. After Gong Zijiu left, Xiaobai once played "Zhong Qin", but her voice was helpless and the listener wept.

2, around the beam: the piano is named after "around the beam", so it can be seen that the timbre characteristics of this piano must be the reverberation around the beam. "Walking around the beam" is a gift from a man named Huayuan to Chu Zhuangwang. Chu Zhuangwang has been playing the piano all day since he got "Walking Around the Beam", and has not appeared in court for seven consecutive days. After that, Chu Zhuangwang ordered people to beat the piano with iron ruyi, and the piano was broken into several pieces. Since then, the famous piano "Around the Beam" envied by thousands of people has never sounded again.

3. Green: Guqin style. It's another name for guqin. In the Han Dynasty, Sima Xiangru was "green", just like a treasure. Sima Xiangru's superb piano skills and the wonderful timbre of Luqi made the piano of Luqi famous for a while. Later, "Luqi" became another name for Guqin.

4. Jiao Wei: When Cai Yong was "desperate, far away from Wuhui", he rescued a section of phoenix tree with abnormal sound in the fire. He made a lyre according to the length and shape of wood, and the sound was really extraordinary. Because there are still burnt marks at the end of the piano, it was named "burnt end". "copulation" is famous for its sweet timbre and unique production method.
