Shanghai Yan 'an Middle School, formerly known as Shanghai Zhenru Middle School, was founded in 1946. 1949 The school moved to Daxi Road (now No.601Yan 'an West Road), and 1954 was renamed Shanghai Yan 'an Middle School. Later, it was designated as a key middle school in Shanghai. 1998, the school moved to maotai road 1 1, covering an area of nearly 654.38 million square meters, with a building area of 865.438 million square meters and a green area of nearly 40%. Yan 'an Middle School is one of the high schools that participated in the famous six-school entrance examination (the original ten-school entrance examination) in the city. There are 34 classes in the school from grade 10 to grade 12 (grade one to grade three). Shanghai Yan 'an Middle School, formerly known as Zhenru Middle School, was founded in Zhenru Town, Jiading County, Shanghai in the summer of 1946, with Qian Songping as the first principal. 1949 Shanghai was liberated and moved to No.601Yan 'an West Road in August of the same year (the present site of Yan 'an Junior High School). The people's government appointed Wang Yawen as the headmaster. July 1954, renamed Shanghai Yan 'an Middle School. June 1956 Private Huaming Junior High School merged. 1960 was identified as a key middle school in Shanghai in the spring.
At the beginning of the school, under the leadership of the underground party of the Communist Party of China, progressive teachers and students actively participated in the democratic and patriotic struggle and organized school nurses to meet the liberation of Shanghai. In the early days of liberation, progressive students actively responded to the party's call to join the army. 1In July, 947, 30 students joined the Southwest Service Corps to support the liberation of China. 1950 to 195 1, 66 students participated in the Korean War and Shanghai municipal construction respectively.
