Tangshan, an ancient temple, has a history of nearly a thousand years. Here are three generations of historical sites from Liao Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and Republic of China.
Shoufeng Temple is located at the top of the axle in the south of Fengrun District, Tangshan City. It was founded in Liao Dynasty (A.D. 1032- 1054) and rebuilt in Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1573- 1620). Existing ancient buildings include Pharmacist Tower, Unlimited Pavilion and Wenchang Pavilion, an affiliated cultural relic building. The three buildings face south in a row, covering an area of about 1300 square meters. Other cultural relics include the classic architecture of Torloni in Liao Dynasty before the pavilion and the tablet of "Zhoushan without a beam and a car" in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1573- 1620).

The boundless pavilion is about 29 meters high and covers an area of about 1.20 square meters. It was built in the Liao Dynasty, with the first floor, and was overhauled into three floors in the Ming Wanli period, with triple eaves and glazed tile roofs. Brick-shaped seven-step arch is applied under the eaves of the first to third floors, and the platform and corridor with white marble railings are built on the front of the second floor. The first and third floors are brick arch roofs, and the second floor is wooden roofs. The stairs on the first floor are built in the load-bearing walls on the east and west sides, enter the climb from the inner door and return to the second floor. There are wooden stairs on the east side of the pavilion on the second floor, from which visitors can climb to the third floor. On the top floor of the first to third floors, there are checkered ceiling paintings with moire and dragon and phoenix patterns. In front of the pavilion is a classic building in Toronyi in Liao Dynasty. During the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, the monument of "Shazhou Mountain added a ten thousand Buddha pavilions without belts" was erected.

Pharmacist Lingta is located in the west of Wuliangge, and was built at the same time as Wuliangge. This tower is 27 meters high and covers an area of 59 square meters. The whole tower consists of three parts: tower foundation, tower body and tower gate. It is an eleven-story octagonal solid structure with dense eaves. The tower foundation consists of sumeru and lotus. Four arch-shaped fake doors are being carved on the tower, and the remaining four sides are embossed with bodhisattva statues. Tasha consists of lotus flowers, bowls and spheres.

Tangshan: Shoufeng Temple "Pharmacist Lingta"!

In the 1976 Tangshan earthquake, three ancient buildings were seriously damaged. The eastern part of Geliang did not collapse, the upper part of the Lingta, the pharmacist was destroyed by the earthquake, and Wenchang Pavilion collapsed. From 2000 to 2002, under the auspices of Hebei Institute of Ancient Architecture, a large-scale restoration was carried out, which reappeared the magical landscape of "the shaft and the mountain are isolated, without beams and pavilions". In 2006, as an ancient building from the Ming Dynasty to the Republic of China, Shoufeng Temple was listed in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council!
