To be in the forefront of the times, we must first be in the forefront of productivity development.

(2) The development of human society is a historical process in which advanced productive forces constantly replace backward productive forces. Productivity is the most revolutionary factor and the ultimate decisive force of social development. No matter what kind of production relations and superstructure, they must develop with the development of productive forces. * * * All activities in party member must be carried out through revolution or reform to get rid of the shackles of the old relations of production on the development of productive forces.

(3) The struggle history of China's * * * production party is the history of representing advanced productive forces and constantly seeking benefits for the people. The purpose of the new-democratic revolution led by the party is to fundamentally liberate the bound productive forces. After the founding of New China, in order to establish socialist relations of production, further improve the socialist superstructure on this economic basis, continue to liberate and develop productive forces, and carry out socialist transformation.
