Xizhuang Historical and Cultural Village is located in Xizhuang Village, Shuangchi Town, Jiaokou County. It is the first batch of provincial-level historical and cultural villages in Shanxi Province.
Shennanyu
Shennanyu is located 4 kilometers north of Jiaokou County, with a total area of 50 square kilometers. Shennanyu has beautiful natural scenery, well-preserved original ecology and a forest coverage rate of 99%.
Thousand-Buddha Cave
Thousand Buddha Cave is located in Shanshenyu Village, Shikou Township, Jiaokou County, 20 kilometers away from the county seat, and is a provincial key cultural relics protection unit. Courtyard layout, the main buildings are the mountain gate, the hall, the main hall, the ninth floor and the stupa. Daxiong Hall is a grotto excavated in Yuan Dynasty. 5.5m deep, 3. 1 m wide and 3m high. There are 1003 Buddha statues carved in the surrounding Buddhist niches, hence the name Thousand Buddha Cave. The rest of the buildings are relics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Known as "the scenic spot of China", the Thousand Buddha Cave Grottoes were rated as provincial key cultural relics protection units by Shanxi Provincial People's Government in 2004 because of their high cultural relics value and artistic value.
Yunmeng Mountain Resort, Hot Spring Rootless Monument and Red Army Crusade Memorial Hall are all county-level cultural relics protection units.
