Oriental Europe City is located in Fangzi District, Weifang City, Shandong Province, and developed on both sides of the central axis with Fangzi section of Ji Jiao Railway. It was once a colony of Germany and Japan, and was originally an old Fangzi area. Due to historical reasons such as coal mine emptying and railway diversion, the Laofangzi area has gradually become silent in recent years and lost its former prosperity. However, there are still a large number of German and Japanese buildings scattered today. In order to protect the century-old buildings symbolizing the progress of Weifang's modern industrial civilization, and to awaken people's re-understanding of Fangzi's history, Fangzi government established Shandong Huadecheng Investment Co., Ltd. to build a European-style ecological town-Fangzi Town.
