Subject 3, subject knowledge and teaching ability, is a new subject, and will not be written for the time being. Its subject knowledge and ability will be assessed together during the interview. The new subject examination is still in the pilot stage, and it is not held in all provinces and cities, depending on the provinces and cities where candidates take the examination.

The teacher qualification examination has no requirements for candidates' majors. For example, you study music, but you can still choose to apply for physical education. However, it is recommended that candidates try to choose a subject similar to your major, because in many areas, when recruiting teachers, candidates are required to apply for the same or similar subjects as their own majors.
