Shandong University is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education with a long history, complete disciplines, strong strength and distinctive features, which has an important influence at home and abroad. Founded in 190 1, Shandong University is known as the earliest modern higher education university in China.

Its medical discipline originated from 1864, which opened modern higher medical education in China.
