Overview of the history of Fengdu ghost town
Fengdu Ghost Town, formerly known as Du Feng Ghost Town, was called "Bazi Biedu" in ancient times. Founded in the second year of Yongyuan in the Eastern Han Dynasty, it has a history of nearly 2,000 years. It is located on the north bank of the Yangtze River in Fengdu County, a city in the lower reaches of Chongqing, and it is a tourist attraction for Yangtze River cruise ships. The ghost town of Fengdu is also called "Tour Capital", "Ghost Country Kyoto" and "Hometown of Divine Comedy in China". Ghost towns are famous for their various buildings and shapes in the underworld. There are many buildings showing the underworld in Ghost Town, such as Huma Temple, Tian Zi Temple, Naihe Bridge, Huang Quan Road, Wangxiangtai and Wangyaotang.

Fengdu Ghost Town is the first batch of AAAA-level tourist areas in China, and it is a famous historical and cultural city that originated in the Han Dynasty. It is called "ghost country Kyoto" and "underworld", and it has become the destination of the human undead. It is not only a legendary ghost town, but also a treasure house of folk culture and art integrating Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. It is one of the most famous cultural landscapes on the Yangtze River Golden Tourism Line.

Fengdu Ghost Town Scenic Area is divided into Ghost Town Famous Mountain Scenic Area and Ghost King Stone Carving Scenic Area.
