The Historical Evolution of Linxia Dagong Monument
It was founded in the fifty-ninth year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1720), formerly known as Qijia Gongbei. During the period of Qi Daohe, the sixth generation monk, Gongbei Building was renamed Dagongbei because of its large scale. It is the general manager of Gongbei in Kadilinye, and governs more than 40 temples, pavilions, retreats and Gongbei in Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Shaanxi and Sichuan provinces. The original buildings are layered, gorgeous and exquisite, mainly including forbidden pavilions, cemeteries, prayer halls, worship halls, scholastic halls, gardens and residential courtyards. 1928 was destroyed by soldiers and all ancient books and cultural relics were lost. 1932, Ma Yongguan, who was in charge of reconstruction, successively built three-story bagua-shaped tombs, memorial halls, front and rear flower pavilions, northeast and other brick and wood structures.
