The high school academic level examination, commonly known as the "senior high school entrance examination", is an examination to identify the learning quality of ordinary high school students. The subjects of the academic level examination are 10 subjects, including Chinese, mathematics, ideology and politics, history, foreign languages, geography, physics, chemistry, biology and technology. Among them, information technology is a compulsory subject, and some provinces and cities also test general technology.
The examination covers all 14 subjects, including 9 subjects organized by the provincial level, and other subjects require the unification of the whole province. Examination subjects can be selected from 6 to 3, 7 to 3, etc. In order to dilute the score, the score is divided into five grades. Academic proficiency test adopts two ways: written test and operation test. The written test subjects are Chinese, mathematics, English, ideology and politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology and general technology. Organization and management:
The organization and management of the ordinary high school academic level examination shall be carried out by the relevant offices of the Provincial Department of Education, relevant units and the municipal and county education administrative departments. The Basic Education Department of the Provincial Department of Education is responsible for policy formulation, work guidance, proposition research and determination of proposition principles; The provincial examination management center is responsible for the proposition, composing papers, marking papers, examination organization, examination management and examination information reporting of major disciplines. The proposition and marking work should be attended by teaching and research personnel of provincial, municipal and county teaching and research institutions.
The analysis, evaluation and feedback of the examination situation are led by the Basic Education Department, implemented by the Provincial Institute of Education and the Provincial Educational Technology and Equipment Management Center, with the participation of the Provincial Examination Management Center, responsible for coordinating the examination management departments of cities and counties, and dispatching examination papers and examination results as required. The education administrative departments of cities and counties should coordinate relevant parties and seriously organize the academic level examination work within their respective jurisdictions.
