1954 Comrade Zhu De visited the East Lake during his work inspection in Wuhan. He was deeply attracted by the beauty and vastness of East Lake. After visiting the East Lake, he wrote an inscription for it: "East Lake will be better than West Lake for the time being."
At present, there is also a "Zhubei Pavilion" on the west peak of Moshan Mountain. The name of the museum was written by Comrade Guo Moruo. The pavilion is 20 meters high and belongs to the flying wing pavilion.
