1. Zhongshan Bridge is located in Jincheng District, Lanzhou City, across the Yellow River and adjacent to the White Pagoda.

2. Sun Yat-sen Bridge was built in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. It was started in February of 1908 and completed in June of 1909.

It was designed by Americans and built by Germans. It cost more than 306,600 taels of silver to build the bridge.

4. Zhongshan Bridge is 235 meters long and 36 meters wide, which is the first highway bridge on the Yellow River, so it is called the first bridge on the Yellow River in the world.

5. Later, in memory of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the pioneer of the democratic revolution, the bridge was renamed "Zhongshan Bridge" on 1942.

6. Sun Yat-sen Bridge is an all-steel Five Archs Bridge, with beautiful appearance and magnificent momentum. There are lush Baita Mountain in the north, high-rise buildings rise in the south, and the Yellow River water runs around the clock under the bridge.
