(1) Maps with national boundaries;
(2) maps of administrative regions across provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government;
(3) Maps of Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong and Macau;
(4) Historical map, world map and current affairs propaganda map.
The State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping accepts the examination and approval of historical maps, world maps and current affairs propaganda maps, and transmits them to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for examination and approval when there is no clear examination and approval standard and basis.
A map of administrative regions across provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government refers to a map with administrative regions of two or more provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government as the main areas. Article 5 The centralized departments of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall be responsible for accepting and examining the following maps:
(1) Local maps within the administrative areas of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government;
(2) Maps of provinces and autonomous regions with national boundaries authorized by the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping. Article 6 Where the maps listed in Article 4 of the Version Measures are published, the topics shall be reported by the publishing unit to the publishing administrative department of the State Council for approval, and then to the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping for approval; Display or use in TV, newspapers and advertisements shall be directly sent to the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping for examination by the display or use unit. Article 7 For the public publication of local maps within the administrative areas of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, the publishing entity shall report the topics to the competent surveying and mapping departments of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government for approval. If it is displayed or used in television, newspapers or advertisements, it shall be directly sent to the competent departments of surveying and mapping work of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government for examination.
If the place where the map content is submitted for examination is not in the same province as the place where the publishing or display unit is located, the department that accepts the submission shall assist the competent department of surveying and mapping of the people's government of the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government where the map content is submitted for examination. Where the departments in charge of surveying and mapping work of the people's governments of two neighboring provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government have disputes over the drawing of provincial administrative boundaries during the process of assisting in the examination, the departments subject to examination shall report to the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping for examination. Eighth map publishing units submitted for trial, first of all, should have the map publishing qualification approved by the administrative department of the State Council. Article 9 When publishing or displaying unpublished thematic maps, the publishing or displaying unit shall submit the professional contents of the trial-produced sample maps to the relevant administrative departments in the State Council or the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government for review. Article 10 The audited department shall notify the submitting unit of the audit decision within the prescribed time limit; Failure to notify within the time limit shall be deemed as consent to publication or display. If the department assisting in the audit fails to give feedback on the audit opinions within the prescribed time limit, it shall be deemed as approving the audit. Eleventh all kinds of public maps published by publishing institutions in Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan Province are imported from the mainland, and the importing unit is responsible for submitting them for review. Without the approval of the map audit department, it may not be sold in the mainland.
The importing entity is responsible for submitting the public map of imported China published abroad. Without the approval of the map audit department, it shall not be sold in China. Article 12 After the second edition of the map is approved for publication, if the drawing method of its boundaries remains unchanged, it may not be submitted for review, but the sample map shall be sent to the relevant map review department in duplicate for the record before printing. Thirteenth maps (including schematic diagrams) used in books, newspapers, movies, advertisements, signs, etc. Using the series of scale standard geographical base maps newly compiled and published by China Map Publishing House to fill in the thematic content, without changing the drawing method of national boundaries and the expression method of important islands, it is not necessary to submit them for review, but the sample maps should be sent to the relevant map audit departments for the record before printing or exhibition. Re-drawing boundaries or re-selecting important islands shall still be submitted for review in accordance with the review procedures stipulated in these Measures. Article 14 When submitting a map, the submitting unit shall submit the following materials to the map acceptance department:
(1) An application for map review of the submitting unit;
(2) Trial-produced sample drawings (color map newspaper color proofing drawings, monochrome map newspaper copy of the manuscript) in duplicate;
(3) In addition to floppy disks and compact disks, electronic maps submitted for review shall also be submitted with paper maps of major geographical elements with the same contents as floppy disks and compact disks;
(four) the description of the base map data used in the preparation of the trial sample map. Fifteenth domestic publishing units to submit maps, but also must produce the following documents and attach a copy of the documents:
(a) the approval document of the the State Council publishing administrative department on the scope of map publishing of the unit or the approval document of single map publishing;
(2) Ordinary maps and thematic maps directly surveyed shall be submitted with the qualification certificate of surveying and mapping units;
(three) for the national or local primary and secondary school teaching map, it is also necessary to submit the written documents of the relevant departments for examination and approval of the teaching map.
