Nanxin University can be regarded as a good university;

It is a national key university featuring atmospheric science, which is jointly established by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, People's Republic of China (PRC) Ministry of Education, China Meteorological Bureau and State Oceanic Administration. He is a member of the first batch of world-class discipline construction universities in China, a high-level university in Jiangsu Province and a planetary science alliance in China.

It has successively been selected into the national "20 1 1 plan", the national key discipline project to build universities, the national high-level university graduate program, the Ministry of Education's "excellent engineer education and training program", the China government scholarship receiving institution for overseas students, the national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship training program, the first batch of national demonstration universities to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and the first batch of pilot schools to be built by emergency management college.

Team structure

As of April 2020, the school has more than 700 full-time teachers 1, including 2 academicians of China Academy of Sciences, 4 overseas academicians 1, talent support program of the Ministry of Education 1, 8 national outstanding talents, 4 leading talents in the ten thousand talents program, and chief scientist of the national key R&D program1.

There are "four green" talents such as You Qing 18 people, more than 50 national talents, and more than 480 provincial and ministerial-level talent engineering and teaching teachers. There are 28 teaching and research teams at or above the provincial and ministerial level, including the first batch of Huang Danian-style teachers and Jiangsu Shuangchuang team. Among the full-time teachers, 84.9% have doctoral degrees, and 65.62% have more than one year of overseas study experience.
