Brief introduction of Guan Yu
Guan Yu (about 158 to 167-220), a native of the Eastern Han Dynasty, was an important general of Liu Bei during the Three Kingdoms period. Also known as "ten thousand enemies" with Zhang Fei. In the fourth year of Jian 'an (199), he was named Hou Ting of Hanshou.

After Battle of Red Cliffs, Liu Bei helped Zhou Yu of Wu Dong to attack Coss of the Confederate Army, and sent Guan Yu to the North Road to stop Cao Cao's reinforcements. Coss retreated. Later, Liu Bei entered Yizhou, and Guan Yu stayed in Jingzhou. In the twenty-fourth year of Jian 'an (2 19), Guan Yu surrounded the second city of Xiangfan, and Cao Cao sent reinforcements. Guan Yu escaped from the ban and killed Pound. At one time, Cao Cao tried to move Xudu to avoid its sharpness.

Later, Cao sent reinforcements to support the alliance and sent Lu Xun and he to sneak attack Jingzhou. Guan Yu was caught between Scylla and Charybdis, defeated and killed. In the third year of Jing Yao (260), the late ruler pursued Miao Hou.

The most special thing about Guan Yu is that he has been respected by China culture for generations, regarded as a god, and his belief in Guan Yu came into being, which spread to Japan, North Korea, Viet Nam, Ryukyu and other countries with China cultural circles. Because of his image of loyalty and courage, he was regarded as the master of Guan Guan by the people and praised by later emperors many times until he became a military commander, just like Confucius "Wen Sheng".

Therefore, it is also commonly known as (Guan) Sheng Di, (Guan) Dijun, (Guan) Shengdijun, Guan Di and Guan Di Ye. Taoism is known as Emperor Xie Tian, Emperor Fuxi and Emperor Han Yi. Han Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism regard it as one of the protectors and call it "Galand Bodhisattva".

Among them, Confucianism is regarded as one of the five saints in Wenchang, while the followers of Fulu Temple are regarded as benefactors, so Guan Gong is also known as the benefactor, the Jin Lord and the Emperor Wen Heng, and is one of the five benefactors.
