The History of China Young Writers and Journalists Association
The inaugural meeting of China Young Writers and Journalists Association was successfully held in Beijing from May 6th to May 3rd, 2008. Young writers, editors, journalists and many famous writers from all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government gathered in Beijing to attend this grand event. During the meeting, the chairman, vice chairman, board members and executive directors of the association were elected by self-recommendation and self-appointment; Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General of the Secretariat; Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary-General, Minister of Propaganda, Vice-Minister and Director of Provincial Branches; At this conference, the articles of association, emblem and logo of the Association were adopted by voting. Liu Heng, vice chairman of the Chinese Writers Association and chairman of the Beijing Writers Association, and many other well-known domestic writers served as honorary chairmen and consultants of the China Young Writers and Journalists Association.
