Wei Wuji is the first hero of the TV series Romance between the Moon and the Wind (formerly known as Desert Ballad, Legend of the Sun and Moon), and the historical prototype is Huo Qubing, the general of the Han Dynasty.

Wei Qing and Huo Qubing are nephews and uncles.

Huo Qubing was born out of the affair of Huo Zhongru, the sister of General Wei Qing and a collector of Heping County. Because of his nepotism with the emperor, he was favored by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty at the age of eighteen and became an assistant.
