There are many kinds of stories, including children's stories, fairy tales, historical stories and fairy tales. Stories also have different carriers, such as books, audio and movies, which are very popular now, but the ancients were not so lucky, because there were not so many high technologies in ancient times, and stories could only be told by mouth.
But the stories told on TV are still different from those we usually tell, because a story may be divided into several versions. For example, this story that Bian Xiao will tell this time: Has Tang Priest seen Bodhi? Why do you know what to teach the Monkey King?
In Chapter 16 of the original work, after accepting the Monkey King as an apprentice, the Tang Priest came to a special place-Kannonji. This is the only place named after a bodhisattva in the westward journey.
Here, they met the most wonderful elder, who lived for 270 years, but had a hobby: they liked cassock! In fact, this is also understandable. Don't some officials and nouveau riche have all kinds of strange hobbies now? For example, some like little girls, some like little boys, some like keeping snakes, and some like collecting hair. In short, we can't treat them with the eyes of ordinary people.
Tang Priest and the Monkey King live in the yard. The first thing they asked was: You are from the Tang Dynasty, so you must have brought a lot of treasures. Show us.
The Tang Priest repeatedly said, No.
The Monkey King defy spirit, said we also have a baby, is a cassock. Several monks and elders of Jinchi smiled slyly: Grandson, you are overreaching yourself by giving us a robe.
The Tang Priest said that your goodness is your goodness, but the Monkey King wouldn't listen and insisted on showing it. At this time, the Tang priest said a very philosophical sentence-
"You didn't notice, the ancients have a cloud, do not make people see greedy traitors. If you enter your eyes, you will be moved; When you move your heart, you have a plan. You are a person who is afraid of disaster, so you can ask for it. Or you'll die. It all starts here. This is no small matter. "
Wait, why does this sentence sound so familiar? Yes, the bodhi ancestor once said a sentence with similar meaning!
In the second round of the original work, the Monkey King learned seventy-two changes, somersaults and so on. One day after lunch, several other disciples asked the Monkey King to show them. The Monkey King had a whim and said, "Give me a question." . They say, when you become a pine tree, the Monkey King suddenly becomes an identical pine tree. Everybody clap.
Who knows, this move shocked the bodhi founder. He hurried out on crutches. After finding the reason, he criticized the Monkey King like this-
"This time, but to show off in front of people? If you see someone else, don't ask him? People will beg you if they see that you have it. If you are afraid of disaster, you must pass it on to him. If you don't pass it on to him, you will be hurt and your life will be threatened. "
Then I kicked the Monkey King home.
Let's carefully compare the remarks made by Bodhi's founder and Tang Priest. Although they point to different things, their meanings are exactly the same. Tang Priest said that he was afraid of disasters (which actually meant that he was a troublemaker), and Bodhi said that he was going to get sick this time. Obviously, he has the same view on the Monkey King's love to be brave!
You know, people with this kind of understanding are all experienced drivers, otherwise they wouldn't have such unforgettable life experiences. Neither the Bodhi ancestor nor the Tang Priest has ever been to Jianghu. Why do they have the same understanding of the Monkey King? The understanding of this kind of human nature is highly consistent?
No wonder some people say that Bodhi was actually the Tathagata, and Tang Priest was the Tathagata's second disciple. They must communicate with each other often, so it is not surprising that they have the same understanding.
Bian Xiao, on the other hand, thinks that Bodhi's father is not necessarily the Tathagata, and what Bodhi said is the same as those exhortations of Tang Priest, which are actually the expression of the author's nature. The original author must have suffered a lot in this respect, so he involuntarily revealed this life lesson when writing.
In fact, this sentence is not only useful for the Monkey King, but also a useful reminder for each of us.
