The origin of the province
As we all know, the division of provincial system in China originated from the provincial system in Yuan Dynasty, which is the abbreviation of provincial book province. Zhongshu Province, Shangshu Province and Menxia Province are collectively called the three provinces. The system of three provinces and six departments was founded in Sui Dynasty and flourished in Tang Dynasty, which is the famous system of three provinces and six departments. The provincial system has been inherited by the Ming and Qing Dynasties since the Yuan Dynasty. Although the Ming Dynasty did not use the name of "province" initiated by the Yuan Dynasty, it was renamed as "official ministers and envoys", but the provinces delineated by the Yuan Dynasty remained basically unchanged and were still customarily called "provinces".
