Historical legends of biancang town
According to legend, Yang Yingguang, the salt official in charge of martial arts in the Ming Dynasty, learned about Yuan Heng's legacy and knew that peony was strange, which awakened the aura of love. The government transplanted it, planted it, but it didn't work, so it had to be abandoned. Bian Shi's descendants took it back and planted it in the same place, competing for leaves and flourishing.

Biancang Town-Peony Biancang Town is located in the south of Yancheng City, about 20 kilometers away from the old city center of Yancheng City, and close to the south new district of Yancheng City. Fiona Fang is a small town with an area of less than 10 square kilometer and a population of only 1 10,000. However, it is famous for its unique beauty here. There are 12 direct buses in the urban area.

Every year around Grain Rain, people enjoy flowers like a flood, and it is not uncommon for ten thousand people to enjoy them together. They wandered between pavilions, strolled between halls, looked at the dead branches of Bai Mudan on the right and thought, and admired the red peony on the left. The rare treasure preserved is simply a miracle.

The most amazing thing about peony in the dead branch peony garden is that the branches are dry and the flowers are bright, but it is necessary to have beautiful flowers on the dead branches that look very dry. If you pick the branches and put them in the fire, the dead branches will be like dry wood, and they can be burned when they die.

This wonderful work was also written by Li Ruzhen into the novel "The Flower in the Mirror". According to the fifth chapter of Li Ruzhen's Jing Hua Yuan, whenever it is picked, it can be burned like dry wood. Whenever flowers bloom, the flowers in this garden are condensed like rouge, beautiful, moist and fragrant; The thick leaves are green, too. However, its branches are swaying in the cold wind like dead branches, haggard and withered. If you take one, you can light a match.

According to Bian Shi's genealogy, there are different kinds of peonies. The only difference is that the dead branches are not in the flowers, but the bones are broken, the skin is rough, the claws are dry, and they are brittle when they are broken. There is another strange thing about dead peony. It's spring flowers, but sometimes in late autumn or early winter, frost and snow stand proudly, and red flowers suddenly bloom, attracting tourists to pay their respects, and the horses and chariots are noisy, and they can't help chanting, saying, preface, topic and praise.

The novel Jing Hua Yuan in Qing Dynasty describes: "There is the driest peony in Huainan today." Peony, known as the king of flowers, has always gathered in Luoyang. Why does Biancang Town also produce peony?

What is particularly amazing is that when the founding ceremony was held in New China, the dead peony just bloomed. Another year later, China resumed its seat in the United Nations. This is of course a pure coincidence, but people use it to express their feelings and praise it as a flower of God. The sea grows three thousands of feet, and the peony is 700 years old. This is the couplet of the old general Zhang Aiping rebuilding the Peony Garden with dead branches. It vividly summarizes the changes of dead branch peony. When it comes to the change of dead peony in the warehouse, we can't help but mention its original owner, the ancestor of Bian Shi family.

The location of Dead Branch Peony Garden is the location of family ancestral temple in Bian Shi in history. Bian is followed by the owner of the dead branch peony spirit root. Bian Jizhi once participated in Shaanxi politics. After the demise of the Song Dynasty, he removed two red and white flowers from the national palace garden and planted them in Qiao Feng Town, Gusu. Later, in order to avoid chaos, he retired to Dong 'a (now a warehouse), and his flowers moved here with his master. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Bianji's Disun retreated after the defeat in Zhang Shicheng, and divided the original two trees into twelve, from then on, exotic flowers and exotic plants became famous in the village.

Bian Jizhi transplanted peony from Xi 'an to Suzhou, and then moved it to the toilet, and today's dead peony came into being.

Both Yancheng County Records and Bian Shi Genealogy recorded this incident: "Bian Shi's ancestors took the meaning of red and white peony, which means planting flowers. Take red to show your sincerity and loyalty to the country; Take the white ones to show that the officials are clean and honest. " It turns out that Bian Shi took the trouble to bring back the red and white peony all the way to warn himself and future generations that he would always be loyal to the country and be honest and clean.

These two dead peonies were later inherited by their grandson Bian. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, when the Bian Shi family spread to Bian Shizhen, a salt transporter in the Huai River, Bian Shizhen almost gave birth to one at the age of 50.

The boy's name is Bian. Bian is clever, good at poetry and verses, and proficient in poetry and rhyme. He is an expert in playing, playing and singing. Besides, Bian is handsome, with a high nose and a wide mouth, and is muscular. He once killed a tiger with his bare hands. Liu said that Bian is the prototype in Water Margin. "Xinghua Baiju (now Dafeng Baiju) is a person, and Bian is a cousin. When Zhang Shicheng Uprising, Shi Naian participated in the planning. Later, because Zhang Shicheng was greedy for pleasure and didn't listen to advice, Shi left. Zhang Shicheng died soon, and his country was ruined. He wandered around the world and returned to his hometown, where he could not live in seclusion. Bian, the author of Water Margin, felt the decline of current politics and was written into this immortal work based on Liangshan heroes.

Zhang Aiping, the former Minister of National Defense, wrote a banner of "Dead Branch Peony Garden" and a couplet of "Three thousands of feet in Seawater, Seven Hundred Years of Peony" for the garden. In addition, there are still Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing peonies 1 1 plants (one of which was planted by the earliest owner) in Biancang Peony Garden, which has a history of more than 700 years. Plants that grow for more than 400 years can usually be called treasures, so the peony in Biancang Peony Garden is still precious.

Now the dead branch peony garden has been built, with two halls, two rooms, five pavilions and twelve pavilions, and 32 viewing spots. All the new scenic spots are named after all the sisters in Jinghuayuan. Such as 12 pavilions for flower exploration, dark fragrance, overlapping picking, one summer, Xianpa,,, and agarwood, including five pavilions such as Fang, Fulv, Yixiang, Jinjie and Qi. Fang Ming and Fang Qun two halls; Swallow and Qing Xiang two rooms. In addition, Fiona Fang Pavilion, Hua Shao Tower, Fangguan Pavilion, Liu Chun Gallery and other buildings also came into being. The whole building area will reach more than 2,000 square meters, with pavilions connected, halls and rooms connected, and pavilions surrounded by octagonal corridors. Haze in shady Rocky Mountains and streams. Spring blossoms, birds and flowers. There are mountains and waters, pavilions and pavilions, covered with green shade, birds singing and flowers fragrant. The ancient town of Biancang will certainly shine like a peony in the future development.
