Brief introduction of Shuangyashan
Shuangyashan City, belonging to Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeast of Heilongjiang Province, facing Russia across the Wusuli River and adjacent to Jiamusi, Qitaihe and Jixi. As of 20 14, Shuangyashan has jurisdiction over 4 municipal districts and 4 counties, with an area of 22,483 square kilometers and a population of1510000 (2010). Historically, Shuangyashan was once the ancient capital of Yilou Kingdom, with a history of about 7,000 years. Shuangyashan is an important coal mine base in China. Shuangyashan Coal Mine is one of the top ten super-large coal mines in China, and its coal reserves rank first in Heilongjiang Province. The gross national product in 20 13 is 57 billion yuan.
