Wenjiang District/before KLOC-0/983
Wenjiang District was revoked according to the State Council State No.26 Reply 1983. At that time, Yongchuan area and Yibin area were revoked together (Yibin area was revoked in March and resumed again in September). 1950 Wenjiang district was established, which belongs to the administrative region of western Sichuan. Wenjiang District Agency is located in Wenjiang County. It governs Wenjiang, Pixian (in Pitong Town), Chongning, Pengxian, Xinfan, Xindu, Chengdu, Huayang (in Zhongxing Town), Shuangliu, Xinjin, Chongqing and guanxian 12 counties; 1970 was renamed Wenjiang area, covering Wenjiang, Pixian (in Yuntong Town), guanxian, Pengxian, Shifang, Jintang (in Zhao Zhen Town), Guanghan, Xindu, Shuangliu, Xinjin, Pujiang, Qionglai, Dayi and Chongqing. 1977, Jintang and Shuangliu counties were placed under the leadership of Chengdu. Wenjiang district governs 12 county; 1983 When Wenjiang was abolished, it governed Wenjiang, Pixian, guanxian, Pengxian, Xindu, Guanghan, Shifang, Xinjin, Chongqing, Qionglai, Pujiang and Dayi 12. After the cancellation of Wenjiang area, all counties under its jurisdiction 12 were transferred to Chengdu. (On August 8, 2008, the State Council State 156 approved the establishment of a prefecture-level Deyang City, and Guanghan and Shifang were placed under Deyang). Now Chengdu has jurisdiction over 9 districts, 6 counties and 4 cities, Qingyang District, Wuhou District, jinniu district, Jinjiang District, chenghua district, Longquanyi District, qingbaijiang district, Xindu District and Wenjiang District; Shuangliu County, Pixian County, Dayi County, Jintang County, Pujiang County and Xinjin County; Dujiangyan City, Pengzhou City, chongzhou city City and Qionglai City. Jinniu district, Longquanyi District and qingbaijiang district were separated from Chengdu suburbs on July 1960. September 4th 1990 Dongcheng District, Xicheng District and jinniu district were reorganized into five major urban areas: Jinjiang District, Qingyang District, jinniu district, Wuhou District and chenghua district. Xindu County withdrew its county construction area on New Year's Day in 2002, and Wenjiang County withdrew its county construction area in April 2002. Guanxian was renamed Dujiangyan City on 1988, Pengxian City on 1993, Chongqing County on 1994 and Qionglai County on 1994. Chengdu is now divided into 9 districts, 6 counties and 4 cities plus high-tech zones. The coexistence of Wenjiang and Chengdu should be determined by the social conditions and political factors at that time. In the early days of the People's Republic of China, Sichuan Province was divided into four administrative regions, and Chengdu was the resident of the western Sichuan administrative region. At that time, the administrative level was different from now. Chengdu is a provincial city (now a provincial city is a county-level city, but it can't be a county-level city then), so the scope of this provincial city determines that it is impossible for Chengdu to govern too many counties. 198. 1954, Chongqing was downgraded to a municipality directly under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, which is at the same level as Chengdu, but Chengdu is the provincial capital and the jurisdiction of Chongqing is also very small, which is the main city of Chongqing today. Later, with the development of economy, the jurisdiction of each region was too large to adapt to the economic development in the new period, and cities were established one after another. Mianyang area is also divided into three parts, namely Mianyang City, Guangyuan City and Suining City. The economy determines administrative divisions, as evidenced by the fact that Neijiang is divided into Neijiang and Ziyang.
