Ancient civilization, ancient elephant-like civilization
The key project of Social Development Research Center of China Academy of Social Sciences "Exploring the Origin of Ancient Elephant and Male Civilization" and the Chinese translation project of Ancient Elephant and Male Buddhist Tripitaka were launched in Beijing on July 20, 2003. The Chinese translation project will not only decipher the ancient Xiangxiong civilization in the snowy plateau, but also explore the civilizations and texts between ancient China and ancient India, ancient Persia and even ancient Greece.

The history of mutual influence and integration.

"Xiang Xiong" originated in the Andes. From the perspective of Tibetan history, "Xiang Xiong" is almost synonymous with the entire ancient western region. Before the rise of the Tubo Dynasty, "Xiangxiong" was the most powerful ancient civilization across Central Asia and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. She created the most brilliant and prosperous ancient civilization on the snowy plateau, which is called "ancient elephant male civilization" in history. "Ancient elephant male civilization" is one of the oldest civilizations in human history. Xiangxiong, located in the traffic fortresses such as South Silk Road, Tianzhu Road, golden road and Musk Road. It can be called "the ancient Silk Road Post Station" and "the cross post station of ancient civilization exchange". Ancient elephant male civilization is the source of Tibetan civilization and even many human civilizations!

The influence of ancient Xiangxiong civilization once spread to Sichuan, Gansu, Qinghai and Yunnan, covering the whole of Tibet. The culture of these areas has penetrated into northern India, Kashmir and Ladakh, which used to be an area with frequent cultural exchanges between the East and the West. In the 7th century AD, Songtsan Gampo merged and unified all the tribes in Tibet, established a powerful Tubo dynasty, and began to write the official history of Tibet.

Archaeological discoveries in recent years have proved that the ancient elephant-male civilization is the real source of Tibetan civilization.

Xiangxiong culture is the native culture of China and Tibet, which contains many cultural systems, such as medicine, architecture, manifesto, Buddhism, astronomy and philosophy. It is the crystallization of the wisdom of Tibetan ancestors living in snowy plateau. Open a huge historical picture with rich images in ancient times, like male culture, continuous. After thousands of years of precipitation and accumulation, it bears the immortal spirit of the Tibetan nation and represents the "root" and "soul" of Tibet's long history and culture. It is a precious cultural heritage and spiritual wealth left by the snowy plateau to the world. The spirit and tradition of Xiangxiong culture have penetrated into the bone marrow of the Tibetan people, completely dominating their spiritual world, influencing their way of thinking and behavior, and becoming an indispensable part of their daily life.

China ancient Xiangxiong culture is the source and basic culture of Tibet! As the source of Tibetan culture, the mysterious and legendary Xiangxiong Dynasty, on the snowy plateau towering over the roof of the world, still reflects the whole Tibetan area, and various traditional customs and cultures extended from it have been passed down to this day. We modern people are familiar with turning mountains, worshiping the sacred lake, kowtowing, hanging colorful flags, heaping stone sacrifices, fire sacrifices, water sacrifices, social sacrifices, simmering mulberry, Sodom, butter sculptures, wiping and diamond knots; There are also Tibetan, dzi beads, tiantie, pots and pans dancing, good news dancing, painting and other arts, all of which originated from the ancient Xiangxiong culture.

The ancient Xiang Xiong had a great influence on later generations, whether it was culture or religion. The ancient Xiangxiong culture even influenced the cultures of many neighboring countries and nationalities. Today, in the fields of culture, art and religion all over the world, we can still find these symbols of civilization from the ancient elephant male, and we can still see the remains of the ancient elephant male civilization, which is undoubtedly a valuable spiritual wealth for Tibetans and even people all over the world.

According to the records of Chinese and Tibetan classics, the ancient Xiangxiong Kingdom (actually a tribal alliance) in history was called Tong Qiang and Yangtong; Reached its peak before the 7th century. According to the historical research of Tibetan population, the population of Xiangxiong should be no less than100000 according to the proportion of the army. Later, Tubo gradually rose on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and in the 8th century, it completely conquered the ancient country of Xiangxiong. Since then, Xiangxiong culture has gradually disappeared.

The documents of ancient Buddhism in Tibet are called "Xiangxiong Code" by experts. The genealogy of Tubo King Ming Jian records: "From Nie Chizamp to Zeng Jietuozan, the 26th century was protected by this teaching." At that time, the classics of this teaching were mainly written in ancient Xiang Xiong characters.

According to Tibetan ancient books such as Wang Tongji and Duodui, the Tathagata Buddha in Xiangrao Miwo reformed the original religion many times and founded Yongzhong Benjiao, which is called the oldest ancient Xiangxiong Buddhism in Tibet.

Fortunately, Buddha Rao Miwo first created the word "Xiang Xiong" and taught the "five disciplines": technology (technology), acoustics (linguistics), medicine, alienation (astronomy) and Naiming (Buddhism).

The ancient elephant-male civilization was developed with the spread of "eternal education"

Luan Zhangjian, deputy director of the Research Office of the International Liaison Department, once wrote an article to evaluate the ancient elephant civilization and the historical significance of this religion:

"It is no exaggeration to say that to understand Tibetan civilization, we must first understand Xiangxiong civilization; To study Tibetan Buddhism, we should also study Bonism first. Otherwise, the deeper you explore, the farther away you may be from the truth. "

According to historical records, in the 7th century A.D., when Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty married Songzan Gambu with Buddha statues and Buddhist scriptures of Sakyamuni 12 years old, the latter had already married the then elephant princess Li Tuman. At that time, the ancestors of Songtsan Gambu respected the state religion, Yongzhong Benjiao.

With the passage of time, the words that recorded the ancient elephant and male civilization slowly disappeared into the dust of history. Hidden manuscripts excavated by later generations have been handed down. After the founding of New China, the China government successively assembled Ganjul, which was scattered all over the country, into books. It is understood that the content of Ganzhuer was originally huge. After thousands of years of changes, some classics have been lost, with a total of 178, including 74 laws, 70 classics, 26 continuations and 8 libraries.

Department. It covers Buddhism, philosophy, logic, literature, art, astrology, medicine, science, engineering and other fields. It is an encyclopedia of Tibetan people's local cultural knowledge, and it still plays an indispensable role in people in Xizang's belief, production and life.

Part of the Elephant Tripitaka-in the Ganjul Sutra, the origin of the earth is described as follows: the earth is made up of temperature brought by wind speed, adhesion brought by temperature, and accumulation of soil and cosmic molecules brought by adhesion. In medicine, Ganjul recorded the structure of yin and yang, body structure, the emergence of pathogens, prevention and treatment. What people call "seven-point fullness" today is described by Ganjul as "four-point theory of stomach": two meals, one water and one digestive space. Ganzhuer records the customs of Tibet and its surrounding areas before the 7th century A.D., and also shows the culture thousands of years ago in detail. Through "Ganjul", we can see what kind of welcoming ceremony the Buddha who was teaching the classics at that time was greeted with and what kind of musical instruments and dances he enjoyed. How the local folk customs are, and how people in different regions and even countries talk and interact are all presented on paper, just like in front of them.

"The roots and origins of Tibetan civilization belong to this religion. Only by translating these documents can we clarify the roots and origins of Tibetan culture.

"The professor at the Central University for Nationalities just devoted himself to the study of Xiang Xiong's civilization for too long. He said that the research on the ancient documents of the ancient Xiangxiong civilization has been in a fragmented state. Once these documents are translated, more essence of Xiangxiong culture can be found.

Speaking of the mysterious ancient elephant kingdom, perhaps many people don't understand it, or even feel strange. Sandstorms along the ancient Silk Road have passed through for thousands of years, and this period of history before the 7th century A.D. has been dusty on the snowy plateau. However, as the same foundation of Tibetan culture and Naxi culture in Yunnan, the ancient Xiangxiong civilization, which combines the essence of the three civilizations of the Central Plains, West Asia and South Asia, still shines brilliantly today.

For the ancient Xiangxiong culture, to make it "alive", we can't bypass an encyclopedia that reflects the ancient Xiangxiong civilization in a panoramic way-Xiangxiong Tripitaka. However, for a long time, due to the lack of Chinese version, the domestic research on Xiang Xiong culture has basically stagnated. In contrast, foreign research and attention on Xiangxiong culture has been ahead, urging us to dig and sort out this treasure. As an early culture before Indian Buddhism was introduced into Tibet, the traces of ancient elephant-male culture run through all aspects of Tibet. "From production to life, from folk customs to beliefs, there is a shadow of Xiang Xiong culture everywhere. For example, religious activities such as offering sacrifices to mountain gods and climbing mountains are all derived from Xiangxiong culture. "

On July 20 13, with the support of China Social and Cultural Development Research Center of China Academy of Social Sciences, Russian living Buddha Ding Zhen began to organize personnel to sort out and translate the Elephant-Bear Tripitaka. A Chinese translation project of the Elephant Tripitaka, scheduled to be completed in 10, began.

Since the founding of New China, the Party and the state have attached great importance to the protection and excavation of Tibetan culture, and invested a lot of money and energy in this regard, which has also revived the ancient Xiangxiong culture. However, for a long time, Gu Xiangxiong's documents are scattered and complicated, which has brought great difficulties to translation and collation. At the same time, there is a shortage of excellent translators. In addition to mastering ancient images, Tibetan and Chinese, we must also understand the history of ancient images. All these have led to the lag in the study of China's ancient Xiangxiong culture.

In this case, it is urgent to make China's voice known for the excavation and protection of the ancient Xiangxiong culture. If we do a good job in the study of ancient elephant-male civilization, we will gain the absolute right to speak of Iranian plateau civilization, Central Asian civilization and Eurasian continental bridge culture, which will be of great benefit to improving China's cultural soft power and even China's international status.
