From the autumn of 20 17, Beijing began to implement the high school level examination (which is what we often call the "national examination").

Shandong (province)

From 20 16, nine universities in Shandong, including Shandong Normal University and Shandong University of Finance and Economics, took the lead in implementing comprehensive evaluation enrollment. Colleges and universities no longer "only pay attention to the results of the college entrance examination", but recruit candidates according to the unified results of the college entrance examination, the results of the high school level examination and the school assessment (comprehensive quality evaluation+interview), forming a multi-evaluation enrollment method for selecting students according to their comprehensive results.

Guangdong

On 20 17, Chinese, mathematics and English were added to the ordinary high school level examination, and high school graduates (including recent graduates, previous graduates and social workers) voluntarily chose to take the examination, and this achievement was regarded as the result of applying for "cultural quality" in higher vocational colleges, making the evaluation of "cultural quality+vocational skills" the main channel for higher vocational colleges to recruit students.

Jiangsu Province

20 17 Jiangsu college entrance examination mode: 3+ academic level test+comprehensive quality evaluation.

"3" means that there are only three subjects in the unified examination: Chinese, Mathematics and Foreign Languages, and the total score is only 480 (including 40 points plus points).

Academic level examination subjects include politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology and technology (including general technology and information technology, the same below).

Under normal circumstances, students take the compulsory subjects of the academic proficiency test in the second grade and the elective subjects of the academic proficiency test in the third grade. The results of compulsory and elective examinations will affect the qualifications of candidates to enter ordinary colleges and universities, whether they can go to undergraduate courses or not, and whether they can meet the specific school performance requirements.

Shanghai

From 1, 20 17, the college entrance examination consists of unified examination results of Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages (regardless of arts and sciences, full marks in each subject 150) and students' self-selected graded examination results of high school academic level (full marks in politics and history).

During February 2017, the ordinary high school level examination was opened to social candidates, and the unified college entrance examination subjects continued to accept social candidates' registration. Specific measures will be notified separately.

From 3.20 17, the total score of the college entrance examination consists of the unified college entrance examination score and the ordinary high school academic level examination score chosen by students independently, with a total score of 660 points.
