Taizhou Education Bureau recently announced the "2022 Taizhou Junior High School Academic Level Examination Scheme". According to the plan, the total score of entering the senior high school entrance examination in 2022 is 760 points, and it will become 830 points in 2023. The examination subjects include Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, morality and rule of law, history, geography, biology, physical education, music and art.

The senior high school entrance examination in Taizhou in 2023 stipulates that starting from 2023, students with Taizhou household registration who have not participated in the scoring examination of Taizhou's eighth grade geography and biology academic level, or social youths with Taizhou household registration or equivalent academic level, will study in the ninth grade outside the city and are willing to apply for Taizhou's high school. They must participate in the scoring examination of Taizhou's geography and biology academic level in that year. Students who have dropped out of school during the eighth and ninth grades after September 20021year and need to take the 2023 junior high school academic level examination must take the 2022 or 2023 geography and biology academic level grading examination. Each candidate can only take the geography and biology academic level grading examination once, and the result is valid for 3 years.

Composition of Taizhou senior high school entrance examination results

Junior high school students' graduation qualification consists of two parts: academic level test scores and comprehensive quality evaluation. Candidates' test scores reach 80%, 65% and 50% of the total academic level test scores respectively, which are excellent, good and qualified, and less than 50% are unqualified. Four of the six indicators of comprehensive quality evaluation are qualified or above, that is, reaching the graduation standard of comprehensive quality evaluation. Students whose graduation scores have not reached the qualified level shall be granted graduation if they pass the make-up examination organized by the education administrative departments of the municipalities (districts) in accordance with the regulations on the management of student status, and the local education administrative departments shall issue graduation certificates. Candidates who do not take the junior high school level exam without the approval of their school cannot make up the exam or issue a diploma.
