The development plan of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei metropolitan area has planned the industrial structure and layout of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. The key areas of Beijing's development are high-tech industries and modern manufacturing industries, which are mainly microelectronics, computers, communications, automobile manufacturing, integration of optics, mechanics and electronics, new materials and bioengineering, creative and cultural industries, which are mainly scientific research, culture and education, and modern service industries, which are represented by finance, insurance, commerce, logistics, exhibitions and tourism. On the basis of the advantages of existing processing and manufacturing industries and ports, Tianjin is positioned to vigorously develop advanced manufacturing industries such as electronic information, automobiles, biotechnology and modern medicine, equipment manufacturing, new energy and environmental protection equipment; Develop modern service industries such as modern logistics, modern commerce and trade, finance and insurance, and intermediary services, and moderately develop large-capacity port-based heavy chemical industry. Eight cities in Hebei are located in raw materials and heavy chemical industry bases, modern agricultural bases and important tourist and leisure resorts, and are also supporting bases for R&D, high-tech industry transformation and processing and advanced manufacturing in Beijing and Tianjin.
