The Anshi Rebellion was a rebellion against the imperial court from the last years of Xuanzong in Tang Dynasty to the early years of Daizong. It was initiated by An Lushan and Shi Siming, our envoys in the Tang Dynasty. Because it broke out in Tianbao period, it was also called Tianbao Rebellion.
