History of China Gold Museum
According to the person in charge of Zhaoyuan Gold Association, in 2007, China surpassed South Africa to become the largest gold producer in the world, accounting for 14.9% of the national output, and was named "China Jindu" by China Gold Association. The completion of the China Gold Museum is a milestone in promoting the popularization and development of China's gold culture and building a tourism brand of "China Jindu". Zhaoyuan will use the museum to promote the gold culture, actively carry out international cooperation and exchanges, and promote opening up.

On May 8, 2009, the China Gold Museum officially opened in Zhaoyuan, Yantai!

The museum breaks the old window display in China, not only maintains the basic functions of traditional museums, such as collection, education, popular science and scientific research, but also makes full use of modern high-tech means such as sound, light, electricity, animation and phantom holographic imaging lamps to embody the exhibition concept of "participation, interaction, experience and scene".
