Dongsisan to Batiao historical and cultural blocks are located in the north of Chaoyangmen Inner Street, south of Dongsishi Street, east of Dongsisan Street and west of Chaoyangmen North Street. This is one of the oldest blocks in Beijing with a history of more than 700 years. Basically maintained the texture of the "Yingbin Square" in the Yuan Dynasty, and the hutong was basically horizontal and vertical, neat and orderly, which was a typical residential block dominated by traditional quadrangles.
In these hutongs, there are too many yards with stories, from "one entrance" to "many entrances" and from "one road" to "multiple roads". Historical remains, humanistic connotation, cultural charm and architectural space complement each other here. Although the core area is less than 50 hectares, there are two national key cultural relics protection units; 4 district-level cultural relics protection units; Register 10 immovable cultural relics; 20 historical streets and lanes; 55 ancient and famous trees; 2 district-level intangible cultural heritages. Let's take a look at the "Bao" punching place in Dongsisan to Batiao.
◆ Dongsi ErtiaoNo. 10
It is said that Fu Kang 'an once lived in this hutong. For hundreds of years, countless stories about Fu Kang 'an have been circulated among the people. The popularity of The Story of Yan Xi Palace reminds people of the historical figure Fu Kang 'an. It is said that Rirkan was adapted from Fu Kang 'an in Princess Zhu Huan. The names given by Qianlong: Fu, Kang and An not only brought him good luck, but also laid the foundation for Qianlong's prosperity. He has been a military soldier all his life and has made many military achievements. According to the elders, almost half of the courtyard of Dongsi Ertiao is Fu Kang 'an's house, and there are chihuahuas specially used for princes and nobles. Not long ago, residents living here even picked up the golden nanmu when they were cleaning.
◆ Dongsisantiao
The middle section of Dongsisan Road leads to Dongsisan Road in the south and Dongsisan Road in the north. Dongsisantiao once gathered many dignitaries. It is said that Li Tongji, the "most beautiful princess" in Wan Yan who once wanted to marry Puyi, once lived here. However, the specific house number has not been verified.
◆ No.86 Dongsi Sitiao
Dongsisi is the most worth visiting. Entering from the west entrance, the "Changheng Ruiji" opened at No.86 andNo. 1928 in Dongsi Sitiao is enough to make people shine. After renovation, "Chang Heng Rui Ji" basically reproduces the style at that time. The antithetical couplets "Byakki Smoker is one and two, the flute is very interesting" and "Everything is bright" are as intriguing as riddles. Although it is not as rich as Dongsi's "Four Big Heng" money house, it can also be called a condensed version of the classical shopping mall. Although the sparrow is small, it has all kinds of organs.
◆ No.83 Dongsi Sitiao
Located at No.83, Dongsi Sitiao, the East Workshop of Baoquan Bureau is the only existing Qing Dynasty mint in Beijing, with a history of more than 370 years. In Qing Dynasty, Baoquan Bureau was responsible for minting coins. There were four mints in Beijing, of which the West Mint was located in Qianfo Temple Hutong in Beiluoguxiang, the South Mint was located in Liangqian Hutong and the North Mint was located in Beixinqiao. Walking here during the May Day holiday, I feel that the wish of "Congratulations on getting rich" will soon come true.
After a year's investigation, experts such as Ma Bingjian and Zhu Xu, chief engineers of Tsinghua University Architectural Research Institute, Bao Li Office of Dongcheng District and Dongcheng District Cultural Committee were invited to inspect the restoration of "Baoquan Bureau's East Works".
According to the literature of the late Qing Dynasty, the gate was particularly wide for the carriage to pull money. At present, the illegal buildings on both sides of the gate have been demolished, revealing the spacious Wang Fu-style gatehouse, which is the most restored hutong in decades.
◆ Dongsi Sitiao 1, No.3 and No.5
Dongsi Sitiao 1, No.3 and No.5 were originally the houses of the Qing imperial clan. Mianyi Dazhai, hometown, served as assistant minister of the Ministry of Rites during Tongzhi years, and his descendants were surnamed Jin. Because of its royal clan, the local people call this house "the house of the imperial uncle".
Among them, Dongsi Sitiao No.5 is now a district-level cultural relics protection unit in Dongcheng District. Three-story courtyard with exquisite hanging flower doors. The veranda connected with the east and west screen doors connects the whole yard. It is said that the interior decoration of the main room still retains the old things of the Qing Dynasty, such as hardwood floor partitions and blue screen windows.

Until the founding of New China, he served as the president of the publishing house, which can be said to be a lifelong book.
Shortly after the founding of New China, Ye Shengtao lived in No.71of Dongsi Batiao. This is a typical three-way quadrangle. There are many flowers and plants in the courtyard, and the environment is pleasant, especially a few begonia flowers, which are very attractive in spring.
