1927, after the autumn harvest uprising led by Mao Zedong was hit hard in Changsha, a big city, he retreated to Wenjiacheng, and Mao Zedong presided over a former enemy committee to discuss the direction of the troops. At the meeting, he correctly analyzed the situation that the enemy was strong and we were weak, and advocated giving up the plan to attack Changsha. The troops went south along the Luoxiao Mountains and went to the countryside to carry out agrarian revolution and guerrilla warfare. This is the "rural encircling the city" which has a great influence on the history of China. After the "Wen Jia City Decision", the troops began to move to Jinggangshan in the middle of the Luo Xiao Mountains, and arrived in Jinggangshan in June+10, 5438, establishing the first revolutionary base of the workers and peasants revolution in China. In April of the following year, the rest of the Nanchang Uprising led by Zhu De arrived in Jinggangshan and the two armies joined forces. This is the "Jinggangshan Meeting". In May, the workers' and peasants' revolution was officially announced.
