Wei (1902 ~ 1952 April), male, Han nationality, formerly known as Wei Yuangui, was born in Weijiaba, Qingmuchuan, ningqiang county City, Shaanxi Province. A few years later, he joined the local militia, and served as the general manager, district head, self-defense captain, ningqiang county independent self-defense captain, Ningxi people's self-defense captain, and deputy director of Fangban in 9 counties of Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu.

Because of their competitive spirit, they often play in the street, so they killed the helmsman in the next room with their friend Wei Dabang, grabbed the gun, and then called the squire and celebrities to talk in the teahouse, so that everyone could recommend a new host as the helmsman. In this way, he naturally became the helmsman of Qingmuchuan.

A Generation of Heroes is adapted from the novel Qingmuchuan by Shaanxi writer Ye Guangling. It is a modern legendary drama jointly produced by Shanghai New Culture Media Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Xidi Film and Television Communication Co., Ltd. and Beijing Xinbaoyuan Film and Television Investment Co., Ltd., starring Sun.

Based on Leifeng Town, a poor and backward town in southern Shaanxi in the 1920s, the play tells the story of how to avenge the death of his father after studying abroad, injecting fresh air into his hometown with advanced ideas, and going to the People's Liberation Army at a critical moment to promote the peaceful liberation of the town.
