Peng Zhen (1902~ 1997) is a native of Lianshang Village, houma city. He participated in the Civil Revolutionary War, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, and served as Secretary of the Central Secretariat and Chairman the NPC Standing Committee.
