Third, the examination method
(A) the test proposition
The examination proposition is based on the curriculum standards of various disciplines. On the basis of a comprehensive examination of students' basic knowledge and skills, it focuses on the ability of students to comprehensively apply what they have learned to analyze and solve problems, guide the development of quality education, and reflect the fundamental requirement of curriculum standards to adhere to the goal of moral education. The cultural course exam is unified in the whole province and unified in marking. According to the Opinions of the Central Committee of the State Council on Deepening the Reform of Education and Teaching and Improving the Quality of Compulsory Education in an All-round Way (Zhong Fa [2019] No.26), since 2020, the Provincial Department of Education will no longer formulate and publish the examination outline.

According to the "Implementation Opinions of Anhui Provincial Department of Education on Further Promoting the Reform of Entrance Examination System for Ordinary Senior High Schools" (No.21[2065438]), the total score of English examination subjects includes 20 points for listening.
(3) Examination methods
Chinese, mathematics, foreign languages, physics and chemistry are subject to paper-and-pencil closed-book examinations, and genuine student dictionaries are allowed to be used in Chinese examinations; Morality and the rule of law, history, paper and pen open-book examination, allowed to bring textbooks and other related materials. Biology and geography are subject to paper-and-pencil closed-book examinations. Calculators are not allowed in all subjects.
Music and fine arts can take a combination of process and summative examination.
Exempt from the requirement of foreign language listening test. In the pure tone listening tests at 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz and 4000 Hz, when the average hearing loss per ear is equal to or greater than 40 dB, students with hearing disabilities can be exempted from the foreign language listening test after being approved by the education authorities. The conversion method of foreign language scores after listening exemption is: candidates' foreign language test scores = candidates' foreign language written test scores × the ratio of foreign language total scores to written test scores. The specific application procedures and requirements for hearing exemption are determined by the municipal education bureaus.
