The origin of Gusu is actually longer than that of Wu, which is said to be related to Dayu's water control. When Dayu was in charge of water conservancy, there was an assistant named Xu. Later, after the flood was cured, he was honored as the "horizontal king" and was sealed here to become the local leader.
