The film tells the story of 1927. After the defeat of the first revolutionary civil war, China saved the revolution and held an armed uprising in Nanchang, Jiangxi on August 1 that year, thus creating the people's army led by China.

The film was released in Chinese mainland on July 27th, 20 17, and in China, Hongkong and Macau on August 3rd [3].
