How should I interpret Lushunkou —— My daughter's reflection on the past of Lushunkou
I am a propaganda cadre and work in Guangrong Street in Lushunkou. It is my duty to interpret Lushunkou vividly and accurately. Earlier, I met Lushunkou from a scenic spot. When I was still in college, one summer vacation, my father took time to take me on a trip to Lushun. At that time, I visited the Lushun Museum, Lushun Military Port, the site of the Japanese-Russian War in the East Pole Guanshan, the Bai Yushan Tower, the Japan-Russia Conference Building and other tourist attractions. My understanding of Lushun has changed from "hearing is false" to "seeing is believing", but at best I appreciate Lushun from the perspective of a tourist. I just show off my "trip" with historical sites and commentaries presented to me. Although I have read a few articles about Lushunkou sporadically, they are all strategies written for tourism. Those fragmented historical materials make it difficult for Lushunkou to form a whole concept in my mind, let alone understand it deeply. Just then, Mr. Zhou's long article "The Past of Lushunkou" was published. On the day I got the book, I was a little excited and carried away, because it was tantamount to "sending charcoal in the snow" for me! I know something about mr.zhou from my father. I know that she is the president of Dalian Writers Association and a famous prose writer. I also know that my father is a loyal reader and fan. I also saw two books written by my father on her desk, Lonely Language in Northeast China and Broken Shadow. I heard her voice before I met her, and even after reading her masterpiece, I was impressed by her profound writing skills. "The Past of Lushunkou" is a prose-style documentary literature, with elegant words, but it makes people feel sad and angry and extremely desolate, which makes people wake up from the gentle village in front of them, and then realize the awakening of a nation and the revival of a country. Dad once wrote in one of his articles: "The reason why Susu's works are favored and received rave reviews is because she has explained the profound connotation of a region and a city for you with a unique perspective and detailed historical materials. The author takes history as a mirror, but does not sink into the sigh of the years. What overflows between the lines is the spark of the times. " Dad's evaluation of Su Su's previous works is still more appropriate for this "Lushunkou Past". "The Past of Lushunkou", among its numerous historical materials, made me feel the geographical significance of Lushunkou for the first time. This undoubtedly found a breakthrough for the interpretation of Lushunkou. Talking about the geography of Lushunkou, Susu said: "This is a miracle created by vicissitudes. It happened in an ancient sea water recession, which turned Lushunkou from land into an all-year-round frozen harbor. And all its subsequent fortunes are related to this. " This finishing touch clearly reveals the reasons for the historical story of Lushunkou, and it is also a key for us to interpret Lushunkou, because "the geography of Lushunkou determines the fate of Lushunkou." Earlier, I also heard that the original name of Dalian was Luda, which just means "Lushun before Dalian". In the past of Lushunkou, Susu's view was more direct: "Without Lushunkou, there would be no Dalian." Although there is no such written expression in the book, it contains the same meaning. It is precisely because the Qing government designated Lushunkou as the Beiyang military port, Japan and Russia competed for this military port, and Nicholas II decided to build a commercial port in Dalian Bay, which led to the historical evolution of Qingniwa from a small fishing village to a modern city. In the past, Susu always said Lushunkou, not Lushun, which people are more used to saying now. The Ming generals changed the lion's mouth named by the Khitans into Lushunkou with China culture. As an identifiable symbol, this name not only has geographical location, but also has historical relevance. I think this is also the reason why Susu insisted on Lushunkou instead of Lushun. Susu said: "Both foreigners and Han Chinese are very concerned about this not-so-wide estuary." After reading the past of Lushunkou, I am also very concerned about this Haikou. I'm interested in everything that happens here. "The Past of Lushunkou" completely jumped out of Lushunkou in the tourist attractions and was no longer limited to Lushunkou in the commentary. It returned to the historical site and made a deep excavation. This provides a deeper historical data for the interpretation of Lushunkou. In order to write "The Past of Lushunkou", Susu consulted a lot of historical materials and visited almost all the historical sites discovered so far. As she said, "Although Lushunkou is close at hand, I feel familiar, but I still use an extremely primitive way of working, just like Shan Ye's sarcasm and scavenging in the fields. I work at sunrise and rest at sunset. " She is determined to "dig a deep well" in Lushunkou, and look at this deep well for thousands of years. Su Su used the excavated historical details to enrich the historical stories, events and people in Lushunkou, sort out the historical context and restore the true colors of history. Ancient ports, important towns, fortresses, bases, reading these historical facts that "never forget, shock the pages" and all kinds of historical connections condensed from them, I found a Lushunkou that I never knew, a Lushunkou that was fuller than scenic spots and commentaries. Susu said, "What is the great martial art in Lushunkou? After thinking about it, I think it is more like the womb of Lushunkou, which not only gave birth to a Beiyang naval base, but also gave birth to a modern town. Many things in Lushunkou were born and existed because of it. " Obviously, this is also a deep reading of mr.zhou himself. I noticed a detail, that is, an old house mentioned by Susu, which is located in the compound of the naval base at No.45 Gangwan Street, Lushunkou District. This old house was built and occupied by a French businessman when 1889 contracted the construction project of Lushun Port. It soon became a naval yamen and office. Susu witnessed the rise and fall of a Beiyang navy by recalling the historical changes of this old house. Lushunkou's past is like this. With the deep excavation, history has revived today and lived in the chapter of literature. The past of Lushunkou melts the author himself into historical scenes and events, which shows the author's feelings and thoughts about Lushunkou. This paves the way for the interpretation of Lushunkou with extremely sincere emotional elements and ideological foundation. After reading The Past of Lushunkou, you will find that between the lines of this book, it is full of the temperature of life, the true feelings of life, and the author's artistic sense and tolerance. Susu used her unique writing experience and passionate feelings to make Lushunkou's thousand-year past "like a stone, hit the ground"! Lushunkou's past is full of the author's feelings and experiences. She put herself in the historical scene and memory of Lushunkou. If it is describing the historical facts of Lushunkou, it is better to say that it is a display of the author's feelings and thoughts. I quite agree with a reader's evaluation: emotion makes words have signs of life; Thinking is the rediscovery and rational orientation of Lushunkou history, and the reconstruction of a historical event and historical figures in this area by the author. There is an example that best illustrates the problem. When talking about the realistic social background of being convicted, Mr. Su said frankly: "The reason why he can't be forgiven is because he crossed the bottom line. No one can know, how can a China duct tape have a Japanese navy flag in its hand? This is also a discovery, an angry heckling and reprimanding! No one can tolerate it. In the Yellow Sea War, Fang Boqian did the same thing again. Qi Yuan obviously has the ability to fight. He knew that Dingyuan and Zhenyuan were besieged by Japanese ships, but he kept up in a crisis, hung the white flag again and took the lead in leaving the battlefield. In two naval battles, the white flag was hung twice. No matter what reason he excused, he should be nailed to the shame column of history. " This summary is not only true and profound, but also full of strong examination and critical spirit. The past of Lushunkou tells the original history of Lushunkou in a novel narrative way, which is very readable. This is also the wonderful place to interpret Lushunkou. Susu wrote The Past in Lushunkou. It has been five thousand years since Lushunkou had a history to record. It is impossible to write only one thing, but countless things. So she took time as a lesson, the past as a latitude, prose as a way, and the pattern of volume as a long chronicle-style literary volume, and wrote a strange and familiar Lushunkou. The history is heavy, but the brushwork is easy, which makes people feel like treasures, and they can't bear to let go, and there is no boring feeling in general history books. Writing a book in Lushun, Su Su made many new discoveries on the original basis by reading, walking and thinking. How to describe these findings? For example, "the place where the Red Water Well Monument is preserved is actually a theft scene, and the perpetrator is Ding Gong Youtian. No matter how excused he is, as long as the stone is not rotten, he will always be nailed to the shame column of history. " In Lushunkou, there were many such subtle strokes. When writing a book review, some people summed up such a narrative way as "the empty lens way of history": collecting and amplifying historical relics. Houses, villages, ports, fortresses ... It is Mr. Su's uniqueness to take their historical changes as the main narrative line, put specific scenes in a broader field of vision, describe the initial history and explain his own findings. For another example, my current work unit is in Taiyanggou, so I pay great attention to the words about Taiyanggou in the book. Mr.zhou said, "What's the unknown story of Little Sunditch? Needless to say, there must be many others, which corner is mysteriously hidden, and I may meet head-on when I am cold. " Here, the author skillfully writes "I" in the historical scene of Lushun from the perspective of subjective narration. This gives people an immersive feeling, which is more helpful to make those stories that are lost in the dust of history surface. The historical Lushunkou is rich in human resources, which is a microcosm of the pain of the Chinese nation for a hundred years. The shame and glory of the nation, the fall and struggle of the country are vividly gathered in the past of Lushunkou, warning us today and the future. The Past of Lushunkou not only provides me with reasons to love it and ways to get familiar with it, but also is an excellent textbook for me to systematically understand Lushunkou and interpret it vividly and accurately.
