The areas that are now open are 1942 plot and Nanyang plot. This place is designed according to the style of blocks around the Republic of China. Wugong Temple is a famous tourist attraction in Haikou, and many tourists will visit it when they come to Haikou. Wugong Temple was built to commemorate the exile of five famous ministers (Li Deyu in Tang Dynasty, Li Gang, Li Guang, Zhao Ding and Hu Shuan in Song Dynasty). These five famous ministers offended the treacherous court official at that time because they were loyal to the monarch and patriotic. The treacherous court official deceived the emperor and was exiled to Hainan by the court. The five famous ministers came to a desolate place.
The environment of Wugong Temple is very beautiful. Among the scenic spots, there are some architectural landscapes such as Sugong Temple, Guanjia Temple, Xuepu Hall, Wugong Jingshe and Qiongyuan, with a total area of 2,800 square meters.
