Yixing belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, which is warm and humid all year round. The heat condition is good, the annual average temperature is 15.7oC, the average temperature in the hottest month in summer is 28.3oC, the annual average frost-free period is more than 240 days, the growing period can reach about 250 days, the accumulated temperature is 54 18oC, and the sunshine hours are sufficient, with the most in July and August. Crops can be cooked 2-3 times a year. There is abundant precipitation, which is rainy all year round. The annual average rainy days are 136.6 days, the annual average precipitation is1177mm, and the rain is concentrated in spring and summer. Surface water and groundwater are abundant.

The rainy season in Yixing is coming in April and May, but it does not rule out that the subtropical high is extremely strong and controls the sky over Yixing.
