"Guangling Tide" adopts the latest design concept of information grouping and layered communication in the design of exhibition content. The whole exhibition takes the river, river and sea as the background, the three periods of Han, Tang and Qing as the outstanding points, and the five major cities in Yangzhou history as the main line, forming a harmonious whole with clear structure.
The exhibition is divided into five major units, each with its own emphasis. The grading instructions are concise and clear. The exhibition uses color tone and certain linear relationship to explain the theme clearly and accurately. The whole exhibition is based on the color elements of willow, showing the cultural characteristics of "Greentown Yangzhou", with the color of ancient nanmu as the auxiliary tone, symbolizing the profound heritage of Yangzhou history.
The organic combination of long and short arcs and straight lines on the plane and elevation of the exhibition hall symbolizes the continuous history of Yangzhou and is full of infinite vitality. Although the exhibition did not deliberately seek modeling elements and artistic symbols to strengthen the theme, the whole artistic space composed of shape, color and light is always full of the unique quality and style of Yangzhou culture.
The exhibition respects the historical facts and the logical structure of the exhibition, makes a reasonable planning of the space volume, fully considers the space share of the Han, Tang, Ming and Qing dynasties, and focuses on both ends, so that the exhibition space forms a continuous, orderly and relaxed rhythm. On the premise of ensuring smooth streamline, special attention should be paid to the situation setting in a specific space.
Guangling Tide is a general history exhibition with outstanding theme, novel design, clear information dissemination, accurate display language and meaningful and logical space treatment, which explores a new idea for the basic display style of China local museums.
