"Jieyang" is named after Jieyang Mountain, one of the five mountains in Qin Dynasty. Jieyang is Jieyang City, Guangdong Province. Jieyang City is a prefecture-level city in Guangdong Province, located in the Chaoshan Plain in the east of Guangdong Province. It is an ancient city in eastern Guangdong, and Jieyang is named after Jieyang Ridge, one of the five mountains in the Qin Dynasty. Jieyang is a new city with a long history, the largest area and the largest population in Chaoshan area, and it is the jade capital of China.
