" Because he was an honest official all his life, he was respected and loved by the people in his hometown. After his death, in memory of him, shaxi town was changed to Liang Shi Town.

In the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, because Liang Shi was an official of the Ming Dynasty, it was obviously intolerable to use his name as a place name. Therefore, according to the vertical and horizontal characteristics of Hazelnut Valley, the local government changed Liang Shi Town to shagou town in Qing Dynasty.

Since the Qing Dynasty, there has been a patrol inspection department in shagou town, which is responsible for maintaining public order in the surrounding areas. The "Yancheng County Records" published in the Republic of China also has the saying that Shagou built the city in the eighth year of the Republic of China. 1945 After the Spring Festival, Shagou was liberated for the first time. On March 9 of the same year, Shagou set up a city, which belongs to the Suzhong Administrative Office. 1July, 946, the Second District Committee of Suzhong changed Shagou into a county. Shagou was transferred to Baoying after it was removed from the county, and it was transferred to Gaoyou in 1947. 1May, 949, Shagou was officially placed under the jurisdiction of Xinghua.
