The embryonic form of Palma Conservatory of Music was established, with a total of about 16 students, attending classes in the corner of the theater.
18 18- 1888:
Marie Louisa, Duchess of Palma, founded the first public music school, which was formally established on 1825. 1855, the school has begun to take shape and become a school with the same name as the Royal Conservatory of Music. At first, the college mainly taught vocal music, and then it gradually expanded to all instruments of the orchestra, which was also because of the reform of the Principality Orchestra proposed by 1836.
1888- 1999:
With the support of Mayor Giovanni Mariotti (who later served as the principal of the Conservatory from 1895 to 190 1) and giuseppe verdi, the Royal Conservatory of Music, a national school in the Principality, was renamed the Royal Conservatory of Music with the approval of the Italian government, and was later named the "arrigo boito" Conservatory of Music in Palma. 1999 till now:
Due to the promulgation and implementation of Order No.508 1999+02, in order to adapt to the corresponding academic reform of the Italian university system, the Conservatory of Music was set as the highest institution of art education in the field of higher music and art in Italy.
