Zhangjiao tomb
Located at the southern end of Qiji Village, Weizi Town, Dingzhou City, Hebei Province, 20 kilometers southeast of Xi Zhong. There are three graves of Zhang brothers, but there is only one grave. It is said that this village is the hometown of Zhang Jiao, the leader of the Yellow Scarf Peasant Rebel Army. After the defeat of the Yellow Scarf Army, Zhang Jiao's brothers were killed, and their bodies were stolen back to their hometown for burial by local farmers. They were sacrificed for 7749 days with traditional funeral customs, so they were called the Seven Sacrifices. In order to escape the official investigation, the hidden "sacrifice" was "sacrifice" and later evolved into seven levels. The tomb of Zhang Jiao no longer exists. According to the descendants of the Zhang family, this old cemetery was originally about 7,000 square meters. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Japanese turrets were built on high ground; During the Cultural Revolution, a small part of the highland soil was taken away. It is the descendants of the Zhang family who advocate retention. In the past few decades, the area around the cemetery has been eroded a lot. If it weren't for protecting the descendants of the Zhang family, this cemetery would have become a homestead.
