Pan Zhang was a historical figure of Shu in the Three Kingdoms period. My family was poor when I was a child. Because he learned a good martial arts, he was appreciated by Sun Quan, the king of Soochow, and accepted the service under his account.
In 2 19, Guan Yu was outnumbered in the battle with Wei and Dongwu. After losing Maicheng, he was captured by Pan Zhang, and Guan Yu, one of the Five Tiger Generals, became a turtle in a jar.
Later, due to the death of Guan Yu, Liu Bei crusaded against Wu Dong, and there was a battle of Yiling between Shu Han and Wu Dong. In this war, Pan Zhang also showed outstanding performance: First, he alienated the relationship between Liu Bei and Huang Zhong, and Huang Zhong was trapped and died; Then, in the battle, he beheaded Feng's general, which led to the division of his subordinates' army. Liu Bei defeated Baidicheng and took the initiative for Wu Dong.
Another year, in 223 AD, Xelloss crusaded against Wu Dong. Wei Jun is brave and eager to cross the river with many soldiers. They tried to build a pontoon bridge. Pan Zhang put forward a plan to burn the pontoon bridge and force Cao Jun to retreat with the least loss. Sure enough, as Pan Zhang expected, Sun Quan personally went into battle and defeated Wei Jun.
In the history of the Three Kingdoms, Pan Zhang played a heroic role in the wars that were crucial to Wu Dong twice, which was inseparable from his bravery. Although he has the weakness of excessive behavior, it is undeniable that he has outstanding talent in combat. On the other hand, Sun Quan can make good use of people and give full play to Pan Zhang's advantages.
According to the historian Chen Shou's History of the Three Kingdoms, Pan Zhang "died in Jiahe for three years". Visible in 234 AD, Pan Zhang died of illness. Later, Dongwu blocked Pan Shi.
