Introduction to Lazi
Lazi is located in the central part of Shigatse, Xizang Autonomous Region, at the westernmost end of Nyainqentanglha Mountain. With a long history, vast territory and convenient transportation, Lazi County is a fortress that seven counties in the west of Shigatse City must pass through. National Highway 3 18, that is, China-Nepal Highway, passes through the south of Lahu, and Laye (Lahu-Yecheng, Xinjiang) Highway 2 19 starts from Chawu Township Station under the jurisdiction of the county and connects with National Highway 3 18. Qu Xia, the county seat, is 50 kilometers east of Shigatse City/KLOC-0, 430 kilometers to Lhasa via Shigatse, and 370 kilometers southwest of Zhangmu Port. It is one of the largest counties in the west of Shigatse, with an important geographical position and strategic position.
