The Historical Legend of Jiabaoshan
The name of Escort Mountain comes from Sui and Tang Dynasties, and the Hu family is just a homonym. Legend: At the turn of Sui and Tang Dynasties, Li Shimin was chased by the enemy and passed by Zoucheng. Seeing that the enemy was about to catch up, a mountain suddenly rose behind Li Shimin, blocking the way of pursuers, and he saved his life. After Li Shimin proclaimed himself emperor, he was named "Mountain of Protecting Drivers" to show his meritorious service. This is of course just a legend. But groundless, maybe Li Shimin really saved his life because of this mountain, so he was given the name of "escort".

From Jiabao to the south, there is a Xiejia Mountain, which is usually called "Baoquan Mountain" by the locals, followed by the Tang King and the famous Yishan. According to the location and route of these mountains, it is estimated that Li Shimin in those days should have gone all the way south through the escort mountain, met courtiers who came to pick up the car in the escort mountain, and then settled in Tangwangshan.

Legends belong to legends, but officials don't think so. The real situation is: According to Zou County Records, when Qin Shihuang traveled to Mount Tai in the east, he was attracted by the peculiar scenery of Yi Mountain, and temporarily changed his itinerary, and climbed Yi Mountain first, hence the names of Jiejiashan and Jiabaoshan, which are adjacent to Yi Mountain; When Li Shimin led the army, Emperor Taizong was stationed in the south of Zou County. Later, it was named Tangwanghe, Tangwanghu and Tangwangshan. Jiabao is embedded in the southeast corner of Zoucheng City, which is in harmony with Tangwang River and Tangwang Lake, adding a little beauty to this historical and cultural city.
