History of washing powder.
Henkel first invented washing powder with borate and silicate as main raw materials in 1907. Washing powder is an alkaline synthetic detergent. The main components of washing powder are anionic surfactant: sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate, a small amount of nonionic surfactant, and some additives, such as phosphate, silicate, sodium sulfate, fluorescent agent, enzyme and so on. It is made by mixing, powder spraying and other processes. Now they mostly use 4A fluorite instead of phosphate. Synthetic detergent is mainly composed of surfactant and proper amount of builder with different functions. Washing powder refers to powdery (granular) synthetic detergent. Because washing powder can show good decontamination effect in well water, river water, tap water, spring water and even seawater, and it is widely used in various fabrics, its production and use have developed rapidly. Nowadays, washing powder is almost a necessary washing product for every family.
