The four gatehouses of the Food Street are ancient Qing-style buildings with a height of 24.5m and a width of16m. The roof of the gatehouse is a double-eaved temple-style wooden structure. The wing angles of the eight cornices have the same shape, and glazed tile covers, dragons, phoenixes and immortals are installed on the wing angles. Green glazed tile roof with two kissing animals at both ends of the main ridge. On the forehead, on the mat, and on the beam under the eaves, there are golden colored paintings.
There is an archway plaque in each of the four gatehouses of the food street, which reads "Jin Woo" in the south, "Xinggue" in the west, "Zhongsheng" in the north and "Huaying" in the east. Together, the four words are "Revitalizing China". The font of the door plaque is selected from calligraphers Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, Ou Yangxun and Zhao Mengfu.
The name of the memorial archway means "welcoming guests with feathers", "singing and dancing", "drunken saint" and "delicious food". The eight corners of the pavilion eaves echo the four gatehouses in the distance. The building complex has three floors, with a cross tunnel in the middle and an arc glass roof at the top, which closes the square city into a whole and forms a shared space.
The four aisles are divided into four entrances, each with a gatehouse and an arched doorway in the middle. There is a plaque with a width of 1.7 meters and a length of 6.2 meters at the door, which is engraved with the five Chinese characters "Heather Food Street", which is spliced by the handwriting of Wang Xizhi, a great calligrapher in Jin Dynasty.
