There will be a lot of information about what you have done after surfing the internet. Not bad, right?
① Empty the temporary Internet folder.
Others can get a general idea of the websites you have visited by looking at pictures, Flash and other files under the "temporary network folder". To remove them, click Tools → "Internet Options" in IE menu bar to open the Internet Options dialog box, click the Delete File button in the General tab, check Delete All Offline Contents in the pop-up Delete File window, and finally click OK.
I don't want cookies.
Cookies may also be the "culprit" of leaks. Click the "Delete Cookies" button in the "General" tab of the "Internet Options" dialog box, and click the "OK" button after the pop-up window pops up.
Tip: A safe way is to go to the temporary Internet folder after surfing the Internet (you can find this folder by clicking "Settings" under "General" options in the Internet Options dialog box) and delete all the contents under it, so that temporary files and Cookie will be cleared.
③ Eliminate the history of visiting web pages.
IE will record the visit history of the last three weeks. If you want to "get online without trace", you have to delete them, just delete all the contents in the folder "C: \ documents and settings \ user name \ local settings \ history". You can also click the Clear History button under the General tab of the Internet Options dialog box.
To prevent IE from recording access history, under the General option of the Internet Options dialog box, change the number of days that web pages are kept in history from the default of 20 days to 0 days.
④ Clear the form content remembered by IE.
When you visit a website, some web pages will prompt you for input. For example, when you search, you will be asked to enter your search content, and you will have to fill in your user name and password when you log in to your email-these things will be automatically recorded by IE. To delete them, you can click the Auto-Complete button under the Content tab of the Internet Options dialog box. In the pop-up Auto-Complete Settings dialog box, uncheck the form and the user name and password on the form and prompt me to save the password. Then click the Clear Form and Clear Password buttons and click OK when asked.
⑤ Delete the URL in the address bar list.
When you enter some letters of the site you want to visit in the IE address bar, the list will automatically open, including the matching sites you visited recently, which also need to be cleared.
Click the Auto-Complete button under the Content tab of the Internet Options dialog box to open the Auto-Complete dialog box and remove the check mark in front of the URL.
If the "Chinese website" software is installed, the network real name in the address bar list cannot be cleared by the above method. At this point, under the Advanced tab of the Internet Options dialog box, select the item "Clear the network real name displayed in the drop-down list of the address bar" in "Network real name" and click OK.
Tip: Don't forget to empty the recycle bin after the above operation. If you don't clean up this place, your previous efforts will be in vain.
